Programs in this phase, such as public outreach events, “shadowing” opportunities, and programs for educators, provide an introduction to what astronomy and space science is all about.

Programs in this phase, such as programming classes and mentorship opportunities, provide opportunities for students to gain valuable advice, training, and advice on how to achieve their astronomy and space science career asperations.

and seminars, provide hands-on experience, networking, and career opportunities. There are also opportunities for giving back, such as signing up to share your science experiments live or to be a mentor students just starting out.
